In the hospital he had a psychotic break which I believe was initiated by the doctor's prescription of wellbutrin while my son was still manic in the hospital. My son now hears terrible voice and sees awful images when it gets dark and he especially cannot sleep. I applaud your article of freeing oneself from meds, but how does a bipolar patient control voices and horrific images without a psychotic med?
