The BiPolar Bears are one of Victoria’s rock’n’roll institutions, playing their own brand of rock, reggae and blues for over 16 years.
Having a serious mental illness hasn’t held the band back. They’ve performed hundreds of gigs from the Sydney Opera House to psych wards, the iconic Espy Hotel, St. Kilda Festival, Federation Square, Brisbane’s Powerhouse and a myriad of other events.
The band describe themselves as having a serious work ethic. Says Kevin, the band’s bass player, “we work hard, write hard and play hard – we’re about making musicâ€. The band gives members a great working environment, supporting their creativity and giving purpose and employment.
